So I was 12 DPO today. I was feeling tired, soreness in my boobs etc. I realized that we had sex on the 25th & then I ovulated on the 28th. I know that the likelihood is low that I am actually pregnant, but my cycles are usually 30 days. If FF is right then I should be getting my period pretty soon. There was very slight spotting this morning, but nothing like normal. Usually my CD1 is very heavy right out of the gate. So, I tested.
Yes I know, you aren't supposed to test this early. I POAS this afternoon at 12 DPO. I know the earliest is supposed to be 14 DPO. In reality you are supposed to wait until 19DPO (according to Taking Charge of Your Fertility). I suck at this waiting especially since I've been a 30 day lady on my cycle for a while. Oh well. I will test again at 14 DPO if I get that far and AF doesn't show.
On one hand I know the chances are low that I am pregnant, but on the other I really hope that this might be it for us. We are still technically TTA, but we have had some occasions (like on the 25th of Sept) where we are lax with any kind of prevention. I am so eager to start trying that I will take a surprise baby!
I will update. As of right now its BFN. No AF in sight.
